Back to School Store

Back to School with Dignity Store!

Help offer children a hand up, rather than a handout, as they spend the “dollars” they’ve earned on school supplies needed to help them succeed!

Whether you want to help behind the scenes or serve at the event and whether you are a first-time volunteer or have been volunteering for years, the Back to School with Dignity Store is an inspiring celebration!

To volunteer or donate items, email regina@urbanvisionministry.org or call (330) 762-1163. For more details, visit www.urbanvisionministry.org.

Another Way to Help

Our Back to School with Dignity Store is one of the largest events we host all year at Urban Vision.  Our stores are a moment in time where we can tangibly show our students and our whole neighborhood God’s overwhelming love. Every year a group of volunteers provides a hearty breakfast for all our neighborhood guests. This year we are looking for one or two groups that would like to help us with this large task! We usually plan for 450-500 people to eat.
Past menus have included:
We have all the items you would need to cook and serve in our kitchen. We also provide all the paper products for the event.
In the past, one group has provided the ingredients and prepared all the food the morning of the store. While we would not say no if a group is willing to do this again, we do understand that it is a very large task. This year we are looking for one group to purchase the ingredients and one group to prepare the food the morning of the store.
