Dignity Stores

When: Setup Tuesday-Thursday; event Saturday (School Store in August, Christmas Store in December)

Requirements: Setup (no age requirement), shopper guide (16 years and older), store clerk (18 year and older)

Collect Supplies

How You Can Make a Difference: Provide needed items to set up our families and programs for success by collecting supplies throughout the year, such as: school supplies, toys, cleaning supplies, office supplies, dinnerware, snacks, etc. Contact Nathan for more details.

When: Throughout the year

Help with Urban Vision’s Facility

How You Can Make a Difference: Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at Urban Vision by helping with maintenance (electrical, plumbing, etc.), remodeling (painting, dry-walling, etc.), cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, etc.), and landscaping (weeding, raking, etc.).

When: Days and times are flexible

Requirements: Volunteers must be 18 or older (unless supervision is provided)

Provide Dinners or Snacks

How You Can Make a Difference: Provide nourishment and energy for our 95 after-school kids by providing a light dinner or snacks. Suggestions are available.

When: Drop off meals (frozen or ready to serve) or snacks weekdays 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. During the summer, we stock our freezers for the fall.

How You Can Make a Difference: We believe in the power of prayer. Pray for Urban Vision’s staff, children, volunteers, and community. Download our daily prayer journal here.

When: Always!
