How long have you been with Urban Vision?
I have only been working with Urban Vision for a short while – since this past June.
What is your position at Urban Vision?
My position is Set On Success Administrative Assistant.
When you’re not working at UV, what is your favorite way to relax?
My favorite way to relax is getting outside and enjoying God’s creation with my husband Micah! Rainy day alternative: jigsaw puzzles.
Favorite movie or TV show?
My favorite movie is probably “The Hundred-Foot Journey”
Scripture verse that holds a lot of meaning for you?
Scripture verse that means a lot: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect had been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:15-16
How is God working in your life right now?
Recently God has been working in my life by reminding me that he is not a heartless judge waiting for me to mess up so he may condemn me, but that he is a gracious father who longs to lather his love and mercy on me and on all his children. His heart is for us, not against us!
Why do you like working at Urban Vision?
Working at Urban Vision is wonderful for a great many reasons, but one of my favorite reasons is my great co-workers! My co-workers are loving, kind, thoughtful, and a workday hardly ever goes by without a hearty laugh.
Get to know more of our staff at our 26th annual fundraising banquet on September 24th.
This year’s theme is “Leading a Legacy” – focusing on Urban Vision’s development of today’s youth into tomorrow’s Christ-focused leaders. 2 Timothy 2:22 – “And what you have heard from me, entrust to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also.”
Please join us as we celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past year, and prayerfully present how we feel God moving in the year to come.
