Scripture verse that holds a lot of meaning for you?

Right now, “Be strong and courageous and do the work!” The full verse is David encouraging Solomon about building the temple. 1 Chronicles 28:20: David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.”

How is God working in your life right now?

On the challenging/convicting side of things, he is encouraging me to check that the way I spend my time actually lines up with my goals. On the encouraging and strengthening side, he is reminding me that life is short and it’s important to take joy in the present, trust the way he is working, and trust that he has his hand on the future

What do you love most about working at UV?

First of all, we have a great team of people (both staff & volunteers) who encourage each other and step in when a program needs a little extra help. Second of all, the students are DELIGHTFUL and I love them! Thirdly, it’s exciting to be part of what God’s doing in North Hill through this family.

Get to know more of our staff at our 26th annual fundraising banquet on

September 24th.

This year’s theme is “Leading a Legacy” – focusing on Urban Vision’s development of today’s youth into tomorrow’s Christ-focused leaders. 2 Timothy 2:22 – “And what you have heard from me, entrust to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also.”

Please join us as we celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past year, and prayerfully present how we feel God moving in the year to come.
